Our Story
In May 1993, we had our first communion side by side with our young parents behind us. We could never have dreamt that 30 years later we would be getting married!
In 1993, Luisa had just moved to Spain when Alejandro joined the very same primary school. Surprisingly, we do not remember talking to each other until December 2017, when a common friend organised a reunion for pupils in our year. When we looked at each other as adults, we recognised each other from those days in school. After chatting in a very relaxed way, we became more curious about each other.
Moving forward, we kept in touch even though we were far apart: Luisa lived in London and Alejandro in Dubai at the time!
We only met again in August 2018 and it would be for a life changing week. Less than a month later, during a sabbatical for both of us, we would embark together on our American tour from New York to La Tierra de Fuego going through many South American countries and exploring the world while getting to know each other better.
Our tour lasted for a couple of months that were truly eye opening. We had no plans and no next flight booked so we got pretty good at improvising.
It all worked out quite well as when we finished our trip and finally settled in Malaga, we moved in together. Once our nomadic life was over, we continued travelling as much as we possibly could but unfortunately we had to start working too.
Then Covid-19 hit and made it impossible to travel so we started enjoying other things as well. Only then did we decide that it was time to start a family. And then, about one year later, our beautiful son Marco arrived to brighten up our lives!
So now we have only one thing to tick off our list, which is having a memorable party to celebrate our love with family and our most dear friends.
We are certainly not the standard couple following the steps by the book, but we definitely enjoy life together, are so happy and would love to share it with you!

Accommodation
For those guests that need to book a place to stay for a couple of days (Friday 8 and Saturday 9 September), please note that we are currently negotiating a good price at the following 3 hotels and 1 youth hostel in the area. If that is the case for you, please let us know in our RSVP form.
In any case, we recommend arriving on Friday morning or early afternoon and staying until Sunday morning. The reason why we chose these particular places is that they are all in walking distance from both our home and the event location. They are also 2-5 minutes from the beach. On the other hand, if you decide to rent an apartment near the beach or in the city centre instead, you can easily take a taxi to the event venue for less than 10 euros.
Hotel Las Vegas
It is 5 minutes on foot from our place, 1 minute to the beach and 18 minutes from the event venue. Follow this link for further information.
Hotel California
It is 4 minutes on foot from our place, 2 minutes to the beach and 19 minutes from the event venue. Follow this link for further information.
Hotel Los Naranjos
It is 6 minutes on foot from our place, 2 minutes to the beach and 16 minutes from the event venue. Follow this link for further information.
Youth Hostel Terraza del Limonar
It is 8 minutes on foot from our place, 4 minutes to the beach and 15 minutes from the event venue. Follow this link for further information.

Frequently Asked Questions
If you could please fill in the RSVP on our website by July 8th, we would appreciate it. Otherwise, please get in touch with either Luisa (+34 643 563 136) or Alejandro (+34 603 578 474) as soon as possible.
Yes indeed, children can attend the event. Please confirm with either Luisa or Alejandro. From the cocktail onwards, there will be a couple of entertainers who will plan some activities to keep the children entertained, having fun and letting their parents enjoy the party.
Most likely hot! Hopefully between 22 and 28ºC which is very pleasant. That is partly why we decided to host an evening event as Malaga Summer nights with a jasmine breeze are just magical and the most enjoyable part of the day.
Please do not come by car. There are just a few parking spots already allocated. The location is close to the accommodation we recommended and also to the City Centre. You could actually even get there on foot. Nevertheless, if you will be wearing uncomfortable shoes, you may take a taxi. The minimum fare is 4 euros so depending on where you are staying, you may be paying between 4 and 8 euros.
Yes, you can get to the ceremony, cocktails, dinner and dance areas from the left side of the building where there are no stairs.
The dress code is smart but comfortable. Dancing is an important part of our life and we would be happy if all of you would join us when party time arrives. Therefore, either use comfortable shoes or bring along a replacement pair :-p Furthermore, take into account that part of the event will be outdoors in a garden on grass.
Mostly outdoors in a beautiful garden. The dance bit will be indoors though.
Ladies, do not wear stiletto heels. There are some grassy areas that you will have to walk on so wear chunky heels or sandals. Can’t have any of you ruining nice shoes or breaking any ankles.
Yes! We would love you to take some photos and share them with us afterwards.
Either Luisa (+34 643 563 136) or Alejandro (+34 603 578 474).
